A village fete with alpacas, a nursery graduation, and two more discos across a busy weekend.
My first party this weekend was a graduation party at Clever Cloggs nursery in Welling — 18 3s and 4s, which is an age that takes a graduation as seriously as it deserves — with a party!
From there I went to a village fete in Abbotts Ann, with a Eurovision theme marking the song contest's seventieth anniversary, for an outdoor magic disco with a puppet — thirty-odd children between 4 and 8. There were two lovely hosts and a paddock of alpacas at the end of the show.
Sunday started indoors at Forest Park Community Centre in Bracknell, for a 5th birthday and another magic disco — a smaller, cosier crowd of about twenty, and a proper variety show that the kids absolutely loved.
The week finished at Charlton Village Hall in Shepperton, for a disco with thirty-five to forty 7 and 8-year-olds packed into the hall — that age group at full volume, it was fun, frantic, lots of dancing and loving every second.
Parties from £175, anywhere across Surrey and West Kent, run by Mark himself. Checking a date is free and takes about a minute.
