Common questions
Will it frighten the younger ones?
The Grim Reaper is a costume and a scythe played for atmosphere, not jump scares — the scythe is for decoration. If your child would rather not have a costumed character at all, just ask and Mark comes in ordinary clothes instead.
Can we have the disco without the Halloween theme?
Yes — some schools would rather not mark Halloween, and some parents feel the same. The lights are the product, so the unspooky version is the same UV glow disco run as an autumn or October disco: no costume, nothing spooky, and the party games Mark runs the rest of the year. Choose it and that is what turns up.
Does the room need to be dark?
It works far better dark, and that's the whole trick at Halloween — UV does nothing in daylight. A hall with blinds makes an enormous difference.
