Spider-Man in Walton, Toy Story in Windlesham, an Ultimate Disco in Lower Beeding, and a Kuromi cake at Delhi Social in Twickenham.
Four parties across the weekend.
Saturday morning I was at Burview Hall in Walton-on-Thames for Boedie's birthday, with Spider-Man and about twenty guests. The cake had Spidey on top with Hulk, Captain America and Iron Man around the sides.
That afternoon it was Woody's turn, at Lumley Hall on the Windlesham Field of Remembrance for Raffi's birthday. Toy Story ran all the way through: Woody and Buzz balloons, a cow-print tablecloth and Rex on the cake.
On Sunday I was at Lower Beeding Village Hall near Horsham for Aria's birthday, an Ultimate Disco, with the XL lightshow and the neon on together and lasers across the floor, under a pink balloon arch. The birthday list ran to more than forty songs, Sabrina Carpenter's Espresso among them.
Then Delhi Social in Twickenham for Samaira's birthday, with eight or nine children and a two-tier Kuromi and My Melody cake. It has a lovely outdoor area, and the food is really good.
Parties from £175, anywhere across Surrey and West Kent, run by Mark himself. Checking a date is free and takes about a minute.
