Roughly 4 to 9. The films pulled the character down to the younger end, so it now works for a mixed group in a way it didn't a few years ago.

Photos with the character
Completely optional — no child gets queued up for a photo they don't want — but they're one of the best bits, and we'd recommend saying yes.
They double as a breather, too. While the queue works its way through, it's a good moment for everyone to grab a drink and get their breath back before the next stretch.
