Common questions

What happens if it rains?

The party moves inside and runs exactly the same. It's worth having a room in mind when you book (a lounge with the furniture pushed back is plenty), and we'll make the call together on the morning rather than leaving it to the last minute.

Is there a lightshow outdoors?

Not really, and we'd rather say so. Lighting needs darkness to do anything, so in a garden in July it's all about the music and the games. If a lightshow is what you're after, it belongs indoors or at an evening party, so have a look at the Kool Kids Disco instead. See the Kool Kids Disco

How much space do you need?

Enough for the children to stand in a circle and play a game, plus a corner for the kit near a socket. Most gardens that fit a trampoline fit a party. Shade for the equipment helps on a hot day, and a gazebo is ideal if you have one.

Do you need power?

One socket. An outdoor one is ideal, otherwise an extension lead out of a window or a door is what everyone does and it's fine.

Can Mark come in costume?

He can, though it's less usual outdoors: a full costume in direct sun is hard work for an hour. If a character is the point, a costume party indoors suits it well, and we'd say so. See costume character parties
